Switch King Server updated to 2.0.1

Switch King Server has been updated to v2.0.1.

The new version has been improved in the way the server is handling the connections to Switch King Live. "OR"-operators has been added (will be supported in an upcoming version of the client) and we've also made some other minor adjustments.

New version of the Android app

Switch King's Android app has been updated to v2.0.0. The new version, now available on Android Market, now includes detailed information about data sources (similar to the one in the iPhone app) and contains a fix for data source values containing nordic characters.

A new function, enabling synchronization of all devices in a device group (requires Switch King Server 2.0.1), is also included in the new version.

Switch King 2.0 now available for download!

Switch King 2.0 supporting TellStick Duo is now available for download. Now it is easy to get values from wireless motion detectors, dusk relays, remote controls, temperature sensors, etc into Switch King and use these to control your devices. Enhancements have been added in 2.0 also for you who uses a regular TellStick.

There are still some integration issues between Switch King and TelldusCenter and we communicate with Telldus regarding these matters. Some users (but not all) have for example experienced that the Duo stops delivering data to Switch King after some time and that devices in TelldusCenter have been corrupted after upgrading.

Switch King 1.10 is still available for download in case you want to wait with installing Switch King 2.0.

Note! Follow the installation procedure carefully under Getting Started if you are upgrading from an earlier version of Switch King.

We had estimated to be able to release Switch King 2.0 earlier than now, but the release has been delayed due to circumstances partly out of our control. We have decided to extend the validity for licenses to compensate for this. Licenses issued in July 2010 or later are therefore valid for version 2.0.0 of Switch King Server.

Switch King version 2.0 delayed

We have discovered some issues that are out of our control during the BETA test phase and currently we have no firm date for release of Switch King 2.0.

We are depending on an updated version of Telldus Center before we will be able to release 2.0. We are talking to Telldus about the situation and hope to get the issues sorted out as soon as possible.
