Latest version

This section contains the latest version of the installation packages for both the server and the client. It is necessary to install both the client and the server to run and administrate Switch King.

Changes done for each version and information about compatibility are documented in the change log:

When upgrading the server, we strongly recommend that you:

  • Stop the Switch King services (Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Services)
    The names of the related services start with "SwitchKing" (for example "SwitchKing Framework Service").
  • Uninstall the currently installed version of the server (Control Panel / Add or Remove Program)
  • Install the new version of the server

Information about your devices, schedules, etc will not be removed when uninstalling the server. Your settings will be kept and upgraded when the new version is installed.

Switch King on Windows requires Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5. In Linux, Mono Runtime 2.10.x is recommended.
