Updated iOS app: Now also support for iPad

An updated version of Switch Kings iOS app is now available on Apple App Store. The new app enables sending commands to devices directly from the device list, support for viewing historic events and is now also available on iPad (in addition to iPhone and iPod Touch). The app has been completely re-engineered with increased performance as a result.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the users that has contributed with translation, testing and comments during the development phase.

Switch King client version 2.0.2 now available

Several productivity enhancements have been added in the new client:

  • All device codes used in the system can now be listed making it easier to select code for a new device
  • Now possible to click on the device state icon to turn a device on or off
  • The synchronization command is now available also for device groups

A number of bugs have been fixed and other enhancements done in addition to that. Check the change log for more information.

Switch King Server updated to 2.0.3

Version 2.0.3 contains a new plugin, bug fixes for sensor events. How Switch King behavies when a TellStick is disconnected has also been modified.

Plugin for EventGhost

Some Switch King users combine Switch King with EventGhost to enable yet another dimension when it comes to controlling devices based on events.

Now, development of a plugin for EventGhost has been started. The plugin simplifies integration between Switch King and EventGhost. The plugin is developed by Martin Engström and you can find more information about the plugin on Google Code.

Demo environment upgraded

We have now upgraded our demo environment for Switch King to version 2.0.2. You can use the Windows client and the apps with the demo environment to evaluate Switch King.
